An image of Jesus Christ in a face mask was projected onto Rio de Janeiro’s Christ the Redeemer statue on Sunday, in awareness of protective measures against coronavirus.
Organized by a group of specialists in healthcare to help Brazil face the dangers of Covid-19, the campaign is called ‘Todos pela Saúde’ (‘All for Health’) .
The projection included a hashtag #MascaraSalva (#MaskSaves) together with the message – ‘Wearing a mask saves’.
There were at least 100,000 confirmed cases in Brazil as of Sunday and 7,000 fatalities.
