The people of Indonesia have already been suffering from the COVID-19 pandemic like other countries. In the same week, they suffered from the Sriwijaya Air plane crash and now the earthquake. My condolences and well wishes go out to the families of the victims of these tragic events that took place in the past week.

Please pray. My country, Indonesia is currently being hit by various disasters in the first 18 days of 2021. Starting from the eruption of Mount Merapi in Central Java Province which caused 10,000 people to flee. Followed by the fall of Sriwijaya Air in the Jakarta sea which killed 62 passengers and crew, then an earthquake measuring 6.2 on the Richter scale rocked the city of Mamuju in West Sulawesi Province which caused landslides and damaged buildings, 81 people were killed, 900 people. . . . . injured, and 25,000 people displaced. On the island of Java, to be precise, in West Java Province, landslides have occurred which resulted in 25 deaths and 15 missing. On the island of Kalimantan, there were flash floods, almost floods that occurred in all provinces in South Kalimantan which resulted in 5 people dying and dozens missing. Back on the island of Java, Mount Semeru in East Java province erupted, hot clouds scorched the villages on the slopes of the mountains, volcanic ash rose thousands of meters above the crater causing the city around Mount Semeru to become covered in ash. . . And the latest is the tidal wave of sea water that enters the mainland in the city of Manado, North Sulawesi province, this small tidal wave is like a tsunami that drags cars and goods to the beach, sea water that enters the land causes flooding in the city center causing 5 deaths and dozens of people disappeared.
