In Indonesia’s vaccination plan, the goal is to inoculate 67 p.c of the nation’s 167 million folks aged between 18 and 59 years, which is 107 million folks, round 40 p.c of the nation’s complete inhabitants. Beneath this scheme, folks exterior the predetermined age teams is not going to get vaccinated, very like pregnant girls and folks with comorbidities. Altogether, they’re anticipated to realize safety from herd immunity.

why is it that the worlds are so opinionated? Don't you think that each govt does the best for the own country?

There are so many people here justifying the government's action here, but let me give my take.

The current government has a deeply entrenched interest on growing the economy of Indonesia and you can see it from the way it acted before the pandemic, in the beginning of it, and even now. So yeah, if you look it that way it makes sense to give the workforce first before all else.

Unfortunately this justification makes no sense in the face of epidemiology, because the most vulnerable to infections are not the young.

You might ask, if the gov really cares abaout the economy, why don't they give even more stimulus? Well, there is a law from 2003 that prohibits the gov to accumulate debts to more than 60% of the GDP. In 2019, it's 30.5%, while in 2020, it's almost 32%. I personally thinks that this fact might makes the gov pretty afraid to launch any aggressive stimulus, so maybe they just don't do it.

As the scripture says: Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it. Luke 17:33 KJV
Many will take covid-19 vaccine thinking they are saving themselves but the truth is they will be doomed forever. WAIT AND SEE!!!, LET HE WHO HAS EARS HEAR FROM THE LORD!!.

I was sure glad when my geriatric uk mom had hers done. I did wonder tho if the younger at work in crowds needed it more but I went along with what the experts said. I have been worried for asthmatic daughter more than anything. She got COVID at work and bought it home for us all to enjoy …we survived it .. I would not wish it on anybody. Anyway myself who has history of small stroke cancer etc has been offered it and so has daughter so we are having a trip out together soon for jabs. What I wasn’t expecting was jab jealousy. So not telling anyone else… I have always been pleased for others getting it … but realise people aren’t happy for others and this has upset me a lot as why do people bother if not kind to each other

Indonesia focus with the group that have access with public first. First Healthcare workers. Second stage: Army, Civil service, teachers, etc. The last stage are for public.

Currently, governement open vaccine for elderly (arfer the vaccine had been approved and confirmed save for elderly). I'm from Indonesia, and th strategy good for us.

Unique strategy but reasonable. However I understand none of the government dare to communicate they do not proritize the most vulnerable persons in vaccination strategy, but vaccinating – after health workers- first the younger, active members of society is also a reasonable option. They circulate more and have a huge role on the economy.

each country has a different approach to suit local conditions. there is no need for anyone to be a judge to see the effectiveness of their means. surely they have studied it thoroughly before implementing a method. All the best Indonesia and world 😊😊

If you are young you do not need the mrna jab, if you get it your body can build natural immunitty. They want to start vaccinating 12 to 18 year olds in a month in Jakarta. Why is no one speaking up about the 99.8 % survival rate of covid. This is not a vaccine as you know it.

After 5 months of this report we found this strategy is big fail to Indonesia government, plus they rely on Sinovac vaccine because of strong relationship with China and/or corruption deal with China, make the situation NOW a complete disaster, best regards from epicenter of Coronavirus now "Indonesia"

The FAI were used by high indonesian ranking military and police generals, some dictors, lawyers, senators. Severe cases no problem FAI has 100% effective againt any vuruses including that variants. FAI has immune booster. The latest recipient of that FAI was an 80 year old Indonesian andwas cured within4 hours.

The Great Tribulation had commenced to test humans from all nations over the entire world. The time of truth is coming, the Lord is destroying all religions and atheism, breaking down all assembly of people praying within building, over all religions on earth, even including mega churches. This is the time to pray at home, individually seek for God, individually meet God in privacy, talk to God, not the god(s) of religion(s), but the Creator of the universe. THE ONLY SOLUTION: call the Creator with all your heart, with all your soul, then you will see what will happen to your life. Covid-19 is nothing on the eye of the Creator. This happened to me, it will happen to you.
