This is ridiculous , just heard our supposed leader will be excepting 20,000 immigrants. When does this crap stop.if one of my daughters tells me that they are considering having a child I would like to be happy, but the way this keeps going, taking everyone who isn't happy where they live, I am seriously scared, what kind of country would be here for my grandchildren. I do have a heart and I do feel for women and children, but 20,000 come on. About 97 percent of these people getting on the planes appear to be men and older boys. So we let them in, then wait a little while and they send for there families. And being Canada , well we can't say no, and now that 20,000 skips the up to 60,000 or more. We have enough of our own problems where money is short and seriously needed. There are so many Arab countries out there where they would be better off and with people of there own beliefs etc. So why do we continue to do this , you know some are fine but why always the big numbers. It's really not fair unless maybe your working in Parliament , making a hell of a lot more than your
worth and living in very expensive gated communities. I really don't know how good our screening process is, but we really won't know if some of these new arrivals might be Taliban or at least sympathetic to the Taliban. One final fun note for everyone, I didn't see one of those thousands boarding the planes wearing a mask. Not one. Keep it up and before too long our Beautiful Country will resemble Afghanistan. Once one very proud Canadian.

Explain why, after many Afghan Diasporas since the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, most of them have not returned to their lands to rebuild their country, Afghanistan. Since the Afghan-Soviet War from 1979 to 2019, there were 2,727,556 Afghan refugees under the UNHCR mandate and 255,244 asylum seekers. If owners do not take care of their land and leave it behind, it will obviously be occupied by other people.
