After a couple of months of momentary suspensions in an effort to curb coronavirus transmission, the airport trains in Jakarta and Medan are up and working once more from at present onward.
PT Railink, the operator of each cities’ airport trains, briefly suspended their operations in late July, when Indonesia noticed a major spike in COVID-19 circumstances pushed by the Delta variant.
Launched in late 2017, the Jakarta Airport trains transport passengers between Soekarno-Hatta Worldwide Airport in Tangerang and downtown Jakarta in 55 minutes, reducing driving time by half or extra. They run 20 instances from 5.37am to six.49pm day by day.
