The French Embassy, in an announcement right here on Wednesday, said that France had earlier despatched 3,163,540 doses of vaccine to Indonesia in 4 separate shipments between September 10 and October 2, 2021.
“The 4 vaccine donations are a follow-up to President Emmanuel Macron’s announcement, on August 4, that as a type of solidarity within the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, three million doses of vaccine will probably be donated by France to Indonesia,” the French Embassy remarked.
These vaccine deliveries are being carried out below bilateral and multilateral cooperation channels, particularly the COVAX facility.
