An announcement launched by spokesperson Angel Ureña mentioned Mr Clinton was admitted to UCI Medical Centre in Orange County on Tuesday for a non-COVID-related an infection.
“He’s on the mend, in good spirits, and is extremely grateful to the medical doctors, nurses, and workers offering him with glorious care,” Mr Ureña mentioned.
Mr Ureña issued an announcement from two medical doctors on the hospital, Alpesh Amin and Lisa Bardack.
“(Mr Clinton) stays on the hospital for steady monitoring,” the medical doctors mentioned.
“After two days of therapy, his white blood cell depend is trending down and he’s responding to antibiotics effectively.
“The California-based medical workforce has been in fixed communication with the President’s New York-based medical workforce, together with his heart specialist.
“We hope to have him go residence quickly.”
Mr Clinton, 75, served as US president from 1993 to 2001.
He underwent quadruple bypass surgical procedure in 2004, and had two coronary stents implanted into his coronary heart in 2010.
This week’s hospitalisation just isn’t associated to his earlier coronary heart issues.
