A wounded Sumatran tiger has been rescued and is on the mend, Indonesia’s Surroundings and Forestry Ministry reported, after she was believed to have been caught in a boar lure.
Sharing a report by the North Sumatra Pure Assets Conservation Middle (BBKSDA), the ministry stated that on Dec. 16, conservation officers discovered the tiger in a cage with barbed wire — believed to be meant to lure wild boars within the forest.
