Bali Covid-19 Update/ March 27, 2022/Indonesia Is Quarantine-Free For International Travelers
The main stories for today is the extension of quarantine-free entry for international travelers. I talked about this in the last video, but it is now official. There is some disagreement about how to intrepret the government circular regarding accommodations while waiting for the result of the PCR test taken at the airport. I give my take on this issue in the main story. Ramadan is coming up so there are several segments on the policy for Ramadan and Mudik. This is another good news video so let’s keep smiling. It's a joke. Like a circus. They change their rules nearly every week. It will put off tourists. I heard all beach bar in the south need to get off the beach April 1st. Slowly they will ruin Bali. With only 20 testing booths on arrival. How will they cope when all those flights start landing. It's crazy.
What's the process if I were to take my PCR test on arrival and test positive? I will most likely book at a CSHE hotel for the first night. So can I quarantine in that same hotel or is there a specific quarantine location? How long is the quarantine? I've read somewhere that after this quarantine period, another PCR test must be done, and if that one comes back positive too, I will have to do another quarantine period and it has to be at a hospital. If this is true it's a deal breaker, I will most likely postpone my trip as I could risk spending my entire 2 week vacation in quarantine. I'm not sure why, but it's very difficult to get this information.

Thank you Bruce…..confusion is still reigning….but we are making progres…(i think 🤦♂️)…..if you look at the monkeys video today in canggu….wow….no masks…no compliance…no distancing….Finns beach club may well be the next super spreader…it seems to be a separate world!…..our figures are really encouraging….lets hope the holi day season dosent dampen our progress….i wish you well…stay safe…👍

Thanks Bruce for the info. Indonesia and Bali are making progress in attracting tourists now. About the Mask wearing, I think it should end there outdoors. In cramped rooms with a lot of people, it can be justified. Wearing a Mask when riding a motorcycle can be good against the pollution on the roads if you don't wear an intergral helmet. I was wearing a Mask or a scarf over my mouth and nose in traffic the last time I was in Bali. But in Sweden when I drove my Scooter I had an integral helmet it is different. When you look at Damian and Winny's vlog today from Canggu Beach club Finns, you could almost forget that there is still Corona. It was scary how many people there were in one place. Many of them have probably been in Bali for a long time and are Antivaxxers or have not had the opportunity to get vaccinated and do not bother to go home to get vaccinated.
In Sweden, we have no restrictions at all anymore but recommendations to keep our distance if possible.
Bruce..last night my guest landed with KLM and she allowed to stay in my airbnb villa although mine is not chse one. No question by the official about where to stay.
Secondly, the test result sent to her via email and she said take about 1.5 hour only.

Quick for my understanding: i understand you wont need to go to a quarantine hotel if you arrive at Denpasar, Bali but is that the same case for Jakarta or Java in general? Or may it be possible te first arrive in Bali and travel to Jakarta later on without a quarantine stay? Can someone help me out with this, I find loads of contradicting information online.
