Jefferson County’s board of schooling mentioned Monday that it sued state Schooling Commissioner Jason Glass in Jefferson County Circuit Court docket to dam parts of the sweeping schooling measure that set to take impact on July 14, information shops reported.
It targets the college district by shifting extra authority to Superintendent Marty Pollio and by limiting how typically the board can meet, officers mentioned. The lawsuit challenges the constitutionality of the brand new limits.
