Paramedics and an RACQ Lifeflight helicopter had been known as to Tabletop Mountain in Toowoomba round 4.45pm yesterday after the first school-aged little one fell down a rocky embankment.
RACQ Lifeflight crews flew the rescue helicopter to the mountain to rescue the kid whereas Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics and fireplace and rescue crews climbed the mountain on foot.
“Eventually mild, the crew of the rescue chopper winched the RACQ LifeFlight Rescue Important Care Physician and QAS Flight Paramedic right down to the scene,” an RACQ Lifeflight spokesperson mentioned.
The boy was handled for head and spinal accidents by paramedics and the aeromedical staff.
As soon as he was stabilised, he was winched on a stretcher to the rescue helicopter and brought to Queensland Youngsters’s Hospital in Brisbane.
