A 34-story building collapsed in Bangkok on Friday, March 28, after a powerful 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck neighboring Myanmar.
Anansit Yamee captured this footage showing a crane on top of the building, which was under construction, swaying before the structure collapsed.
“I encountered an earthquake, which I had never experienced before in my life. So I took out my phone to record a video,” Yamee told Storyful. “I pointed the camera at the top of the building and saw the construction site shaking back and forth. It was very scary. The building collapsed right before my eyes. I was very shocked by this.”
News reports citing Thai officials stated that 101 people were missing, and at least 10 were confirmed dead in the collapse.
At least 144 people had been killed and 730 others injured in Myanmar by the earthquake, according to BBC Burmese, citing the head of the ruling military junta.

The collapse, pancaking like the Miami apartments, NYC’s Trade Centers, and Tower 7, shows how materials fail when stress exceeds load-bearing capacity. These tragedies aren’t inside jobs or demolitions. By learning from engineering failures instead of fueling conspiracies, we can prevent future loss of life.
Nowadays, Every sign proves that we are at the end of time😢
I'm glad the cameraman zoomed out and took those few steps back! That was a close one! I was watching it in super high 😎 definition with 4d 🤓…you could have gotten dust on you from the corruption of companies currently cutting ✂️ corners at the expense of temporary passing by you and I with shorter life spans that will amaze you whilst you visibly can until:

Made in China
Made of fakes…
Fake steel, fake cement…..
This was the only total collapse in Thailand during that earthquake too. Imagine if the building was operational.
I’m not one of those idiot Trumptards who throw around the phrase “chinesium” due to a complete lack of original thought, but it is pretty common knowledge that their domestic construction industry is fraught with fraud, cut corners, and uninhabitable buildings. I don’t see it as much of a stretch to believe that they exported that same quality of construction to one of their regional neighbors.
Wow may the lord have mercy on the construction workers in Jesus name amen 🙏
The same contractor who build those buildings that collapsed in China. ?

Only Western countries have that quality that lasts 100 years and more, that's the different between quantity and quality
Those countries who stand too close with china can't have quality products
Compared eith with china n western countries the only structure only stands is the outdated greed wall of china
I can hear he screams of the workers seeing their work collapse
Coating the whole exterior with lacquer mightve helped keeping it intact
