To say the fortunes of Canada’s political parties have fluctuated in recent months would be an understatement.
It wasn’t that long ago the Conservatives found themselves more than 20 points ahead of the governing Liberals. And the New Democrats were eyeing official opposition status.
While the race continues to narrow between the two front runners, the Liberals are well within striking distance of forming a majority government, something that was out of the question just a few months ago.
