After a hopeful start to the day, we’re learning that relations between two nuclear-armed rivals appear to be holding on by a thread. India is accusing Pakistan of violating a U.S. brokered ceasefire signed by the two nations early Saturday, a claim Islamabad has denied. The deal would have paused days of deadly clashes and the largest flare up of violence between the countries in decades. Touria Izri reports.
There’s another push for a ceasefire in Russia’s war on Ukraine. With the backing of U.S. and EU leaders, Kyiv is proposing a 30-day ceasefire with Russia, with the threat of more economic sanctions if the Kremlin fails to comply. But as Candice Cole reports, Russian President Vladimir Putin’s government remains vague on whether they will agree.
U.S. President Donald Trump has promoted expanding his country’s oil and gas production since beginning his second term in office. But his passion for this increase is running into the reality of slumping global oil prices — something that has also pushed Canadian oil firms to prepare for tougher times ahead. Here's a fun fact. India can never win an aerial war with Pakistan. Every time they try, they get put in their place. In 1965 war, Pakistani pilots took out a whopping 75 indian aircraft and 1 Pakistani pilot named 8-pass charlie (in his canberra bomber) literally decommissioned an entire indian airbase and blew up several jets all by his lonesome self and that was just 1 pilot who did all that. Every time India tries to fight, the Pakistan Airforce put them in their place. 3 Indian Rafale shot down so far by PL-15e Pakistani missiles hahaha.

Alberta has had 10 years to diversify it's market, so that it is not so dependant on O&G. Keystone X was denied in 2014 and then building a pipeline to the East was denied in 2016/17. It needs to start diversifying so that its residents can eat and so that housing can expand.
