Even if we hit the minimum of 2% it doesn’t address the root issue. Our military is an embarrassing 60,000 strong. Even if we summoned the avengers and got the best military equipment in the world, we wouldn’t have enough soldiers to operate the equipment. 60,000 troops is 1 soldier per every 160 km2 in Canada.
