Israel has launched what it is calling a “preemptive strike” against Iran and declared a state of emergency, according to Defense Minister Israel Katz.
“Following the State of Israel’s preemptive strike against Iran, a missile and drone attack against the State of Israel and its civilian population is expected in the immediate future,” Katz said in a statement.

The same "preemptive strike" would be called a terrorist attack if it went in the opposite direction, but the main difference would be that Israel actually has an illegally constructed nuclear arsenal they menace the surrounding region with.

Oh come on. Both Israel and the US want to disarm Iran in preparation for ripping off resources from within the middle east. Both countries know that Iran has a lot of military capacity and if Iran were to be worn down, it would leave all that economic wealth open for the taking. It wont happen. Iran will cause that much devastation that those who wish to go into the region and pillage what's in the ground will end up suffering that much loss that they'll be publicly forced to back off.

Iran assisted Assad in Syria who was the primary actor in instigating the Syrian Civil War. The Assad regime spent decades repressing the Sunni Muslim majority. Iran sided with Assad to promote Shiite geopolitical domination across the region. Similarly, Iran backed Shiite militants in Iraq after the U.S. overthrew Saddam's Sunni-dominant regime.
There are a slew of valid criticisms to be made of Israel and the United States, however, I am not going to be sad that a sectarian Shiite fundamentalist theocracy just lost their nuke program.
