I wasn’t going to post anything here, but something nudged me to. Maybe because I know what it’s like to be scrolling through comments, hoping for something to click some small sign that you’re not crazy for wanting more. Alligator Alcatraz with little security? 😅😅😅 That place is known as the Jet Port. It has been closed for decades. My children and I have gone hunting and camping there many times. It is part of the Big Cypress Swamp. In the winter, it dries our almost completely. If there are 10 alligators within 5 miles of the Jet Port, it would be too many. I would say there are more bears and Panthers in the area than alligators. Believe me, none of the wildlife there, including the snakes, want anything to do with humans. We regularly hunt the area barefoot so as to not spook any of the few deer there. In the summer, when there is about 2 feet of clear warm water, my kids and I actually fall asleep in the water, waiting to spot wildlife. Alligators, pythons, bears, Panthers, and snakes have never even come close to us. 😅😅😅😅 Ya city stickers have absolutely no idea what you are talking about😅😅😅😅😅

1/2 million Americans have been killed by opioids in the last 5 years, 70% by fentanyl. In Kansas City 407 people died of Opioid addiction last year in Metropolitan area. Kansas City is ranked as the 8th violet city in America with a murder rate of 150 to 185 yearly. Another ranking ranks Kansas City as the 14th gang controlled city in America. Nevertheless, it is hardly mentioned by our local, state, and federal leadership. Since, BLM in 2020, you hardly see the police stopping vehicles for traffic violations in the city, but in the suburbs the police will stop you for a headlight out, or stopping after the white line. Another statistic that may have a correlation to crime, drugs, immigration, and Gangs is that Kansas City has the highest increasing homeless rate for population in the country.
