“We remain optimistic, with a spirit of collaboration, we can bring real progress,” she said in a post on her Instagram account @smindrawati, which was accessed from Jakarta on Monday.
Collaboration can also help make the global economic order more resilient and stable, she added. Furthermore, it can create equitable prosperity for all countries.
Indrawati also expressed the hope that the G20 will continue to foster the spirit of global collaboration and cooperation, especially amid current global economic conditions that are fraught with the risks of uncertainty, trade tariff wars, and escalating fragmentation.
“Indonesia always welcomes efforts to open dialogue to develop mutually beneficial cooperation,” she said.
At the forum, Indrawati discussed and suggested interventions for global macroeconomic issues, international financial architecture, infrastructure, international taxation, development challenges in Africa, and sustainable financing.
During the discussions, she consistently emphasized the importance of fostering collaborative growth among countries.
“Therefore, it is crucial to create global justice, so that no country is left behind,” she added.
That will include the implementation of a fairer international taxation. The Indonesian Finance Minister emphasized the importance of helping developing countries build capacity and maintain their fiscal sovereignty.
It is also vital to support their access to financing and efforts to eradicate inequalities.
