Thousands of protesters marched through central London on Saturday, carrying flags of England and Britain during a demonstration organized by anti-immigrant and anti-Islam activist Tommy Robinson.
A “Stand Up to Racism” counter protest also gathered nearby, following a highly charged summer in Britain that has seen protests over immigration and free speech.
Demonstrators carried the Union flag of Britain and the red and white St. George’s Cross of England, while others brought American and Israeli flags and wore MAGA hats of U.S. President Donald Trump.
Anti-immigration “Unite the Kingdom” protesters also faced off against police in one of the biggest right-wing demonstrations of modern times in the U.K.

Listen, I know that there are some fringe parties trying to gain power and they're trying to do it through the protests (incidentally tainting the protest's reputation, as the cycle goes), but these are just ordinary Brits concerned about their country, so don't cal them far-right. Thankfully, yesterday as of typing this there were reforms to the immigration system, so let's hope everything goes smoothly now
