“The MoU for the third day was valued at US$1.15 billion, and we appreciate it. The MoU between exporters and buyers was made possible due to the hard work of business actors promoting high-quality products,” Santoso said in a statement on Sunday.
He reported that 22 MoUs were formalized between Indonesian exporters and international buyers on Friday.
The Minister conveyed his appreciation for the continued commitment of global buyers, noting that the high level of enthusiasm demonstrated the strong confidence of the global market in Indonesian quality products .
The Minister expressed confidence that the exhibition, which runs from October 15–19, 2025, at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD City, Banten, would remain busy until its closing day.
The event features various leading Indonesian export products across three main zones: the Food and Agricultural Products Zone, the Manufacturing Products Zone, and the Services and Lifestyle Zone.
Minister Santoso specifically lauded the efforts of Indonesian trade representatives stationed abroad who successfully attracted potential international buyers.
He hopes that this surge in exports will directly benefit micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) through the priority program known as MSMEs Dare to Innovate, Ready to Adapt to Exports (UMKM BISA Ekspor).
“This program is designed to bridge MSMEs to meet potential buyers through a series of online business matching sessions facilitated by these Indonesian trade representatives,” he explained.
TEI 2025 recorded at least 8,045 registered buyers from 130 countries.
The Ministry of Trade has set an ambitious transaction target of US$16.5 billion for TEI 2025. This target aims for a 10 percent increase from the previous year’s exhibition, which recorded transactions totaling US$22.73 billion.
