The UAE Cabinet has approved 3,567 housing decisions for Emirati citizens in 2025 with a total value of AED2.546bn ($693m), according to official data.
The meeting was chaired by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
The UAE approved 599 of the 2025 housing decisions in the fourth quarter, with a combined value of AED478m ($130m).
2025 housing decisions in the UAE
The Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme issued 3,567 housing decisions in 2025 worth AED2.546bn ($693m). These comprised:
- 524 grants from President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan valued at AED356.3m ($96.2m)
- 623 government housing loans worth AED270.2m ($73m)
- 32 government housing grants/benefits totalling AED25.4m ($6.9m)
- 2,388 housing financing decisions with a value of AED1.894 billion ($511.4m)
In the fourth quarter alone, the programme issued 599 housing decisions valued at AED478m ($130m), including:
- Two gracious grants from the President worth AED1.3m ($354,000)
- 31 government housing loans totalling AED25.2m ($6.8m)
- Eight government housing grants/benefits worth AED6.4m ($1.7m)
- 558 housing financing decisions valued at AED445.1m ($120.2m)
The approvals form part of the UAE’s ongoing efforts to strengthen housing stability and support Emirati families through targeted grants, loans and financing solutions.
