U.S. businesses that depend on Canadian customers are feeling the pinch of less cross-border traffic.
“So right now, we’re at a plateau at 60 per cent down revenue,” Josie Frodert, manager of the Ship 49 parcel service in Blaine, Wash., said.
She said they are also hearing from their customers, saying they are scared to cross the border.
“They’re scared to come over and then they don’t want to pay the tariffs going back,” she said. “That’s huge.”

Only visiting family in VT crossing from QC. At St-Armand-Philpsburg, I got pulled at secondary, body searched, searched our phones, confiscated some food, got yelled at, asked our opinion of a certain person. At the end, we were denied entry. That's being a CBC. Never again.
