Lions and tigers hunt larger animals, danish should send older people to zoos for more natural habitat.

Disgusting idea.
This is horrible "Four lions, including two cubs, were also euthanized several weeks later to make room for a new male lion in the Danish zoo. The lions were euthanized for not being able to defend themselves against him, Copenhagen Zoo officials said at the time…..Atrocious, healthy animals!
The practice is not unheard of in Denmark and, in 2014, the Copenhagen Zoo garnered attention on social media when it killed a healthy giraffe and fed it to their predators.
In the jungle, there aren't cages and fences.
Except one is raised as a companion and pet and the other sources are food. If they wanted meat why not ask for something like a farm or raise those animals themselves for food? Unless aid animals are going to be put down anyways for reasons it just seems wrong.
Disgusting. And the host making a joke of it is equally bad.
Feed them a Dane
Funny thing is, they said that they euthanize the pets before feeding them to the predators…so why exactly do they need PETS for this? If the animals are going to be killed before they given to the predators (assuming they aren't lying about that part), that means the predators are not actually hunting them. So there is no difference for the predator whether it eats an animal raised to be food or someone's pet. It sounds like they are trying to cut down on their food costs to me and it has nothing to do with their official reason for it. They need to close and send their animals to more responsible preserves.
Why pets at last a use for illegal immigrants
For many who don’t know this is a reminder post the zoo has been doing this for years, this is one of those News ZOO WANTS YOUR BELOVED PETS story smh. In reality there asking for pets that are old and or had long lives not like cats or dogs but bunny’s, pigs, chickens, and not much more. And yea they get food from farms again what’s the price of a “cheap steak?” And then look up the amout of meat a lion needs and then you’ll realize why they had this already up for years that allowed you to donate old pets to help zoos that already struggle feeding animals so when zoos start asking for hands out don’t be suprised or angry ask yourself when is the last time you went to a zoo and spent 20 or more then 20 bucks zoo’s need every dime to maintain and care for animals.
FYI no you cannot just “raise rabbits there” the cost to maintain the animals are already high but the amount of livestock needed would bankrupt the zoo alone plus regulations and such for livestock animals need to be met and such.
Makes sure nothing goes to waste? Some excuse, like that makes it better. Please just don't 😖

I think the zoo should donate their predators like lions, tigers and cheetahs, to people who want to follow The Carnivore Diet. It's very hard to find enough carnivores for that diet.

Hope this is a fake news, because it's so messed up.Why the hell they don't close the zoo??? Why do we still have these terrible places??? Kids can watch documentaries to see animals, because showing them captive animals is very disturbing.
