US President Donald Trump’s top advisor, Stephen Miller, claimed that India is funding Russia’s war in Ukraine by purchasing oil from Moscow. “People will be shocked to learn that India is tied with China in purchasing Russian oil. That’s an astonishing fact. India portrays itself as being one of our closest friends in the world, but they don’t accept our products,” he said. Trump is threatening India to either stop oil trade with Russia or bear 100% secondary tariffs. Russia is India’s top crude supplier, accounting for up to 35% of the oil imports. This comes days after Trump imposed 25% tariffs on India and struck a trade deal with Pakistan. He wrote on his Truth Social, “I don’t care what India does with Russia. They can take their dead economies down together, for all I care,” Trump wrote. “We have done very little business with India; their tariffs are too high, among the highest in the world.” Palki Sharma tells you more.

I love India and I wish India all the best. I was a bit weary of India's suck-up to Trump's America in trying to take China's position. I dream of a strong BRICS. It is a bit stupid to talk in equal terms about Israel's genocide of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians and some 40 Israeli's held by Hamas. Israel's goal is to ethnically cleanse Gaza.
