It was conveyed by Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak after accompanying the President during a meeting with the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on Thursday.
“President Prabowo expressed his sincere gratitude, particularly to the Saudi government, for its support and permission to Indonesia’s plan to build a Hajj Village in the country,” he said.
The President hopes the Hajj Village can improve the service quality for Indonesian pilgrims. He also noted that the Muslim World League will hold discussions with the Saudi government regarding the project.
“The Muslim League will also engage in talks with the Saudi government, particularly with the Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman Al Saud (MBS), to jointly help facilitate the plan of Hajj Village in Saudi Arabia,” he said.

On that occasion, he also said that Sheikh Mohammed observed that President Prabowo’s influence in the Islamic world is growing.
According to Simanjuntak, the Muslim World League views Indonesia’s role under the Prabowo’s leadership as increasingly significant, both within the global Muslim community and internationally.
Sheikh also expressed appreciation for Indonesia’s role in responding to the situation in Gaza and promoting peace in Palestine, noting it has drawn attention not only from Muslim-majority nations but also Western countries.
The Secretary-General hopes Indonesia, under President Prabowo’s leadership, can emerge as a key voice in the Islamic world.
“President Prabowo’s leadership has extraordinary influence. Hopefully, the center of peace in the Islamic world can be advanced by the President Prabowo through Indonesia,” he said.
