I urge the NH Home Training Committee, chaired by Rep. Rick Ladd, to assist public training in New Hampshire and to oppose HB 1671. It’s stunningly flawed to limit New Hampshire public training to 4 topics. Music, artwork, pc, world language, engineering, well being and bodily training lessons could be elective. Many college students who don’t do properly within the 4 topics are capable of specific themselves by these different topics that shouldn’t be elective. I worry the dropout charge would improve as a result of the one topic a baby seems ahead to in a day is eliminated.
Limiting training to simply the 4 topics within the invoice is setting approach too low an expectation for our college students. It’s actually dumbing down public training. And we all know we have to enhance public training to make good residents. A very good public training promotes democracy. A lesser public training doesn’t. We have to do what promotes democracy. Meaning offering a very good public training to everybody, not simply an elite who could dwell in a rich city that may afford to show the topics aside from the 4 proposed on this invoice. We have to present as a lot equality of alternative as potential to all our kids. Please let your legislators know that you simply oppose HB 1671.
