There are at the moment 51 volcanoes actively erupting on the planet. Whereas the Karangetang volcano is continuous to supply viscous lava flows, a number of developments have occurred at different regional volcanoes. In Japan, the Kirishima volcano is continuous to indicate indicators of unrest as a sequence of volcanic earthquakes expanded to a gaggle of two vents. In Indonesia, the Agung volcano was broadly reported by information retailers to have erupted when in actual fact no such eruption ever occurred. In the meantime, in Costa Rica, the Poas volcano produced its first eruption since 2019. This video will talk about these volcano associated information tales, as informed and analyzed by a volcanologist.

Although earthquake activity is still continuing at Sao Jorge at heightened levels, it has steadily decreased over time. I am now leaning towards the volcano not producing an eruption in the short term. As for Taal, it may be going back to dormancy but more information is needed since its sulfur dioxide emissions have drastically dropped.
How is Iceland doing?
Great work as usual.
Always looking forward to your volcano updates as they are comprehensive yet brief.
That's quite the "expansion" of the exclusion zone…reminds me of one of my more energetic nights 🙂
You should put the definition of a phreatic eruption on a shirt and sell it
Niuafo'ou. That looks interesting. Can you tell us about that one?
When I was a young man, I climbed several of the Cascade peaks. I'm curious if you would do a video on the Three Sisters, but particularly the South Sister.
That exclusion zone looks very manly.
Its pronounced Agong*
I like your reports and analysis, but would suggest avoiding using stock photographs of other volcanoes and events to describe the current volcano under discussion. In my opinion, they tend to confuse what we're looking at. Thanks
Hey there! Was curious if you know much about an ancient volcano located in the West Kelowna in BC Canada. It’s called mount boucherie. Apparently it was erupting when Pangea was separating. Lots of wineries now all around the base of it.
I was just thinking this evening I'm glad t there are at least 51 places on earth that volcanoes get to go off in these mad eruptions so that it is happening somewhere but not right next door to me. Thanks to volcanos people that endure their eruptions and geologyhub for information videos
Happiness is a warm Agung…not hot, just warm…
Please do Mount Hibok-Hibok in the Philippines
Is this an AI voice?
Could you do a video on the "Most dangerous" volcano (#1).
I hope you cover the Azores Islands earthquakes and get the warnings out. Quite a lot going on out there
I remember visiting Poas Volcano in Costa Rica many years ago. Very neat to see!
How many volcanoes around the earth are erupting or showing signs of, at any one time, or do they collectively show a pattern, fields effecting fields, the earth’s plates are connected, even indirectly…
2areas in USA are bulging
What criteria underlie your 25 most dangerous? Likelihood of eruption doesn’t seem to fit.
Thank you so much for your Reports.
Would you mind doing a video, if you haven't done one yet, about Hualalai on the Big Island of Hawai'i? There's also been unrest in the main section of the Campi Flegrei complex (which includes most of the Bay of Naples). As both of those are potentially dangerous, a clear-eyed assessment of their eruptive risks and the hazards they pose to their respective populations would probably be useful to a lot of people.
