Lived in Mexico for a while, and it’s the only country I lived in where I see military activity a lot more often than US or Taiwan.
Funny thing is that there was a common acceptance in Mexico amongst almost everyone I knew is that cops are very corrupt, meaning you can bribe them as easily as in a video game, sometimes a video game is harder. And another thing is that the people in control on the streets are the gang not the government as there was pretty much daily headlines of someone killing someone
