Can Indonesia’s Poor Survive The Coronavirus Crisis?

Amid the #COVID19 pandemic, Indonesia is facing its worst economic crisis since the 1998 Asian Financial Crisis. Since tough social restriction measures kicked in, some 5 million Indonesians have fallen into poverty, surviving on US$1 or less a day — and the poverty rate could soon climb as high as 13 per cent – meaning some 30 million could be living under the official poverty line.
The Indonesian government has pledged 200 trillion rupiah in social assistance such as direct cash transfers and food handouts to help the poor. But not all has been disbursed due to bureaucratic red tape, inadequate census data, and the country’s sheer size.

The homeless are amoungst the most unhealthy, untreated, no social distance people of the world and covid has not wiped these out. Wake up people, this is not about a cold. 1.5m died of tuberculosis last year. Highly infections and high death rate but no panic.

    2Chr 7:14

14 if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Actually those poor has much stronger body than the rich. Everyday they have to battle stronger virus like cholera etc, that way they have much higher antibody than the rich who rarely exposed to dangerous germs

Covid is not that terrible, but our government measure in handling this thing made it much more worse. Jokowi is a good leader but in this case, he and his administrations are so mean. He sacrifices many his poor people, they who don't get any bails out from government because their name are not included in the list. Really sad.

Lagi jaman susah begini tetep aja banyak yg kawin, banyak yg bunting, banyak yg beranak pinak tanpa mikir mereka mampu gak membekali anaknya dgn layak.

Coba yg lanang napsu seksnya dikendalikan, jangan ngacengan, jangan mikir selangkangan, jangan mikir memek mulu, jgn mikir kentu mulu.

Semoga lekas sembuh pak😇😇
